I have been an educator for 18 years, including teaching kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades and working as a math interventionist, RTI coordinator, and STEM coordinator. I grew up in Monument, CO and attended CU-Boulder for a BA in mathematics, an elementary teaching certificate, and a MA in K-12 Mathematics Education. A few years ago, I completed a principal certification program through CSU-Global. I have a passion for working with students and teachers to innovate learning so students are prepared to meet the challenges of the future. When I'm not at school, I am with my husband, 2 sons, and 2 cats. We are a very busy family involved in all kinds of extracurriculars ranging from robotics to hockey. In rare moments of free time, I enjoy reading and watching movies.
