I am a second grade teacher who was born, raised, and still lives in Fort Collins.  Though I have traveled to many countries including Uganda, Rwanda, England, France, Germany, Taiwan, China, and more, I can’t imagine living in a more incredible place than along the foothills of Colorado.  I have had several careers prior to becoming a teacher including painter, restaurant management, lift operator, and assembly line manager.  I am also a published author of poetry and short stories.  I have been married for 24 years, have two daughters, and two grandsons.  I have also taught 3rd, 5th, and most recently 4th grade here at Alpine, and am extremely excited to begin the year, and hopefully have a “closer to normal” classroom and school week. Lastly, I look forward to the unique curriculum your child and I will be venturing through!
