Alpine Clubs

Alpine Elementary is excited to announce another round of Student Clubs! The majority of the cost of the clubs is being paid for by our Alpine PTO, using funds raised from our FundRun, so the cost to families is only $10 per child (4H has an additional $10 material fee). All clubs will run weekly on Wednesdays for 8 weeks, from February 18th to April 15th. Classes will be held from 3:45-4:45. Students will check in with Lion’s Den after school and then the teacher will collect them to go to their club space. Students will be dismissed back to Lion’s Den and parents will need to pick up from the cafeteria door.

If your child has already participated in a club, please sign up for a different club, as many of the clubs will be the same lessons they’ve already experienced. Please be considerate of your child’s attendance and let the club teacher know if they will be absent. Please note we need a minimum of 5 students for a club to be a go. If you have any questions, call the office or contact the staff member running the club. Club sign-up will be available at stvrain.revtrak.net on Friday, February 6th at 8:00AM.

February is Heart Awareness Month!

Join us in supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities by bringing in aluminum pop tabs from now through February 27th. We have some exciting goals to hit: any class that collects 200 tabs wins a class-voted prize, and if the whole school reaches 2,000 tabs, we will celebrate with a PJ and Stuffy Day! The class with the highest overall total will also be rewarded with an ice cream party. Additionally, don’t forget to show your school spirit and support for heart health by participating in Wear Red Day on February 6th.

Send a Cupid Gram!

Show someone you care this Valentine’s Day with a Cupid Gram! For just $1 each (cash only), you can send a beautiful wooden rose and a personalized card to a friend or staff member. To participate, simply fill out a card that went home in Thursday folders, and return it to the front office with your payment. Cupid Grams are available from now through February 6th, but act fast—they are only available while supplies last!
