Alpine Clubs

Alpine Elementary is excited to announce another round of Student Clubs! The majority of the cost of the clubs is being paid for by our Alpine PTO, using funds raised from our FundRun. All clubs will run weekly on Wednesdays for 8 weeks, from February 12th to April 9th (except Book Club which will run 3 extra weeks). Classes will be held from 3:45-4:45. Students will check in with Lion’s Den after school and then the teacher will collect them to go to their club space. Students will be dismissed back to Lion’s Den and parents will need to pick up from the cafeteria door. Please be considerate of your child’s attendance and let the club teacher know if they will be absent. Please try not to miss more than one class so students can maximize their club experience. If you have any questions please call the office or contact the staff member running the club. Club sign-up will be available at stvrain.revtrak.net on Friday, January 31st at 8:00AM.

4H Class is a morning class

Alpine Community Night

Hello everyone! Our last Community Night raised $141, which is pretty great for ice cream in freezing weather! Thank you everyone!  Our next Community Night will be on Wednesday, February 12 from 4-8pm at Mike O’Shays located at 512 Main Street. They will donate 25% of the proceeds from all orders during that window. Note that in order for Alpine to get credit you must mention Alpine at the restaurant. If you have time to eat there in person then you may be able to make friends with some other Alpine families. Hope to see you all there!

Parent University Session

St. Vrain’s Parent University program provides training, information, and resources to parents and caregivers to support the well-being and success of their children.

Join us on Zoom, Feb. 20 from 5-6:30 p.m.

Adolescent RISE with Nicholas Thompson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Adolescent RISE is a presentation that takes a fun and informative look at the developmental period of adolescence (ages 10-25). It includes debunking myths about adolescence, understanding the four qualities of adolescence (risk taking, identity formation, social reorientation, and emotional intensity), and learning about the tweenage brain. With this foundation established, ways to better support our kids will be discussed.

Please register online to assist with planning purposes.
