Principal Notes

A Fantastic First Week at Alpine!

What an incredible start to the school year! This week, we welcomed all of our kindergarten through fifth grade students—and even kicked things off with our first Fitness Friday, running laps around the building to get moving and celebrate our upcoming annual FundRun. Families joined us for Back-to-School Night, Kindergarten Orientation, and Preschool Orientation, helping to set the stage for a wonderful year of learning and connection. We’re especially proud to unveil our newly remodeled library, now complete with fresh bookshelves, tables, chairs, cozy seating, and cheerful décor—it looks amazing! We’ve loved seeing both familiar and new faces, and we can’t wait for all the adventures this year will bring.

Gratefully,

Amber Marsolek EdD – Principal

Jennifer Dalby EdD – Dean of Students

PTO News

FundRun

Hello Alpine Families:

Alpine’s PTO is excited to kick off our 2025 FUNDRun. Our FUNDRun is our one and only direct fundraiser for the year. Please register your student(s) using the QR code below. Registration guarantees your student(s) will get their free FUNDRun shirt size. Parents of kindergarteners and preschoolers, please register your student(s) under “Alpine PK” and “Alpine Kindergarten” rather than a specific teacher. Once students are assigned to their teachers, we’ll move them to their specific class in the FundHub system.

Sincerely,

Alpine Elementary PTO

iPad Updates

St. Vrain’s District Technology Services has made several updates to student iPads for the upcoming school year to support a focused and secure digital learning environment both at school and at home. One key update is the implementation of a new internet filter, Securly, which adds an extra layer of protection to iPads by blocking certain types of websites. For more information about these updates – and what they mean for your child’s device — please click here.
