Thanksgiving Lunch Change
Due to an overwhelming response from Alpine families and a slight food shortage through our nutrition services vendors, we will no longer be able to serve cafeteria lunch to parents on November 9. However, we are excited to offer an alternative for families who have already RSVPd for the event. We will now be catering the parent portion of the luncheon through Perkins Restaurant.
Our fabulous PTO will be serving the parent portion of the lunch and providing additional sides and dessert. The meal will consist of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and pumpkin pie.
If you previously confirmed your attendance for this event and would prefer not take part in this lunch after our change in plans, please contact the office, and we will refund your $5.
We currently have 50 spots available on first come first serve. Submit your $5 per person to the office to confirm your spot.
Thank You Veterans
Alpine Cell Phone Policy Reminder:
According to our Family Guidebook, Alpine students are welcome to bring cellphones to school. However, in order to preserve the learning environment, we require students to keep their phones and watch phones in their backpacks during school. If your child feels a need to make contact with you during the school day, they can discuss their need with their classroom teacher and may be able to access their phone during an appropriate time.

Community Night
Thank you to everyone that attended the last month’s community night at Chipotle. We raised $524, which totally crushed our goal of $300! The next Community Night will be on Tuesday, November 7 from 3-9pm at Texas Roadhouse on 2351 Clover Basin Drive. They will donate 10% of the proceeds from all orders during that window plus they donated food for the October teacher conferences. Note that in order for Alpine to get credit you must present your flyer, either in the restaurant for dine in or at the to go window for pickup. If you have time to eat there in person then you may be able to make friends with some other Alpine families. Hope to see you all there!
