Alpine Cheer 2025

In an effort to spread holiday cheer this season, we look forward to connecting resources in our community through an optional, anonymous present exchange for Alpine families. If you are interested in participating, please complete the form by November 21st.

If you click “get cheer,” the form will ask about the children’s ages, interests, and sizes of clothes/shoes. We will anonymously connect families who would like to give some cheer to our community.

We need all unwrapped presents delivered to the school by Monday, December 8th so we can organize them for pick up.

We will coordinate pick up with receiving families anytime between December 11th-19th.

Free and Reduced Meals

Families who believe they may qualify for free or reduced-price meals are encouraged to complete an application by Oct. 1. While all St. Vrain Valley students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily through Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program, submitting an application provides additional benefits to families such as fee waivers, college exam discounts, and reduced internet and utility costs, and also helps bring federal funding to support classrooms, after-school programs, technology, and additional meals and snacks for students. Applications are available online or at Nutrition Services, 2929 Clover Basin Dr., Longmont.

Colorado FriendShip Needs Our Help!

Colorado FriendShip is an amazing mobile food and clothing organization that supplies weekend meals for over 650 St. Vrain Valley students through their IncrEdibles Food Program. Alpine Elementary benefits greatly from their continued weekly support sending healthy, kid-friendly, nonperishable food home every Friday during the school year.  Each bag of food consists of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Saturday and Sunday.

Donations have been slow and the IncrEdibles program needs a boost from the community, in order to maintain the number of food bags needed for our St. Vrain students!

They are working in tandem with Sam’s Club, offering official donation days, where you can “shop and drop” your donations on the spot at our local Longmont Sam’s Club location. More details are included on the flier.

If you’re not a Sam’s Club shopper, no problem! You can bring any of the listed donation items directly into the Alpine main office, just let us know it’s for IncrEdibles.

If you are interested and able to give back, the list of needed donations items is below.

Thank you for your help keeping our St. Vrain students and families fed and supported!
