Dear Alpine Families,
We are thrilled to share the incredible news of our recent FundRun success! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our wonderful families and students, we raised over $43,000 to support our school’s programs and initiatives.
This amazing achievement is a testament to the power of our collective efforts. Your commitment and generosity have made a significant difference, and will have a lasting impact on our students’ success at school. Already, we’ve put these funds to excellent use by organizing two enriching field trips, providing Lexia licenses for 36 students to enhance their literacy skills, and we’re in the process of purchasing a scooter/skateboard rack to promote active and healthy lifestyles.
To mark this extraordinary milestone, we’re hosting an Ice Cream Sundae Party on Wednesday, October 4th at 3:00pm in every classroom. We’re in need of parent volunteers for each class to help scoop ice cream while all classes head outside for a whole school photo. If you’d like to be a part of this special day and lend a hand, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher and bring along your trusty ice cream scoop.
For those with specific dietary needs, we’ll have non-dairy ice cream and sorbet options available. Our health clerk will be in touch with families to determine the best option for individual students with meal modifications. If your child requires an alternative treat but does not already receive meal modifications in the lunchroom, please contact the office so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Once again, thank you for your incredible support. Together, we are creating opportunities and experiences that will positively shape our students’ educational journey.
Gratefully,
Amber Marsolek, Principal
Jennifer Dalby, Dean of Students

Parent Volunteer Opportunity
The School Accountability Committee is an opportunity for parents and community members to have a voice in the continuous school improvement process. This team of volunteers meets with a teacher representative and the building principal 4-6 times per year to review school data, including climate surveys and achievement testing results. Members of the team learn about the continuous school improvement process as well as the progress of the students at Alpine Elementary, and offer insight and feedback. Members serve two years on a rotating basis, so 1-2 seats are open at the beginning of each school year. The School Improvement Team is an excellent way for members of the Alpine community to help us continue to achieve our very best.
Please email [email protected] if you are interested in serving on the School Accountability Committee.
Code of Conduct
Dear Alpine students and families,
Thank you for your partnership and supporting the academic growth, safety, and well-being of our students. Every year, St. Vrain Valley Schools prints an up-to-date version of the Code of Conduct for students and families to review. This important document guides students and school staff on what expectations for school conduct and the consequences for behaviors that fall outside of those expectations. It is important that families review this information every year and acknowledge their receipt and understanding of this document.
To this end, please click here to access an electronic version of the Code of Conduct for the current school year. After you have reviewed this information, all families must sign an electronic acknowledgement that they have received, read, and understand the information contained, including the Annual Notification to Parents/Guardians; Behavioral Code of Conduct; Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents; and Board of Education Policies book. To sign your electronic acknowledgement, please follow the steps described here. Again, thank you for your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 720-652-8140
