Welcome to Alpine Elementary, where we are thrilled to have you as part of our community! As your Principal, it is an honor to welcome you to a school where where we take immense pride in being an IB World School, committed to developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people. As part of the International Baccalaureate community, we embrace a global perspective and strive to foster a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.

Since 2004, Alpine has been more than just a place of work for me—it’s been my second home, and I am proud to lead a school that is dedicated to the success and well-being of every student. Our school is more than just a building; it’s a community where students, families, and staff come together to create an environment filled with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a love for learning. We take great pride in fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere where students are encouraged to strive toward academic excellence and families are welcomed as partners in the educational journey.

Before becoming the principal in 2017, I was fortunate to serve Alpine in various roles including first-grade teacher, literacy interventionist, IB Coordinator, and Dean of Students. My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Black Hills State University, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from CU Boulder,  a Principal Certification from CSU, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from CU Denver. I love learning and feel my learning journey is never complete. My work with the International Baccalaureate Organization as an instructor and evaluator has also deepened my passion for education, allowing me to learn from and contribute to schools around the globe.

Alpine Elementary is a special place for my family as well. My husband, Patrick, and I have three daughters—Aubrey, Lila, and Ellery—who have all walked the halls of Alpine with pride. We cherish our time together, whether we’re cheering at sports events, exploring new destinations, or enjoying the outdoors.

I am committed to ensuring that every family feels connected and supported at Alpine. Whether you’re attending a school event, participating in PTO activities, or just dropping by, I look forward to getting to know you and your children. My door is always open, and I am here to help with any questions or concerns you may have.

Welcome to Alpine Elementary—where learning is a shared adventure, and every family is a valued part of our community!
