Bio
Hi All!  I am Angie Saunders, and I will be teaching 5th grade for the 9th year here at Alpine.  Altogether, I have taught 5th grade for 28 years, which is incredibly hard to believe.  I started my career in Naperville, Illinois and moved to Mountain View Elementary here in Longmont in 1998. Being a teacher of 10-11 year olds has been a highlight of my life. I enjoy the kids’ independence, humor, and creativity.  I am also a mom to two girls, Emma and Kaia, and my dog, Sadie.  In my free time, I enjoy crafting, gardening, and adventures in the mountains.  If you would ask any of my former students about me, I think they would say I was fun, fair, and energetic!  I look forward to meeting my kids for the 2023-2024 school year!!  We are going to make it a GREAT ONE!
