Bio
I was born in Utah and have lived in Kentucky, California, Connecticut and graduated in Social Work at Utah State University. I met my husband Blake while he was in the flight program there. We enjoyed many private flights together. I worked at the Logan Utah hospital as a full time social worker in all the departments, such as medical/surgical, ICU, NICU, pediatrics, Women’s center health, behavioral health and the emergency room. At that time I was a hospice worker and ran adult and children bereavement groups and made several home visits. My husband was relocated to Colorado and I wanted to be a full time mom. I have 5 children who all have attended Alpine. I have been coming to Alpine for over 12 years with my family. Currently my children are in high school, middle school and my youngest will be in 5th grade at Alpine. I worked as a kindergarten para for 4 years, substitute teacher, one year as a first grade teacher, and this fall, I will be teaching kindergarten. I love teaching! I’m excited to help students practice and develop new life skills to use now and in the future. I enjoy playing the piano, guitar and watching my children play football, basketball, track, golf, and jazz band concerts.
