Bio
Deb Bonner has been a proud part of the Alpine family since it opened in 2004, when her boys Trevor and Jake were in 2nd grade and preschool. She started out as a classroom volunteer and PTO secretary, and since she already spent so much time in the school, was approached with an offer to interview for a paraprofessional position.   Going on 17 years later, Deb is still part of an amazing Special Education team, supporting and encouraging and growing alongside students and staff. She aims to bring the joy of learning everyday and loves when she gets invited by teachers to share her latest special book for a read aloud. She especially loves making connections with all of Alpine’s students.   Students will tell you that Mrs. Bonner is Canadian, is passionate about books, loves to celebrate every occasion with theme earrings or a costume, has the best decorated work space, is always drinking tea, rides her bike to work and says hello to everybody. They might also know she loves to go for walks, camp, kayak, do puzzles and work in her garden.
