Josh Wise is entering his 11th year at Alpine and his 17th year teaching visual arts. Mr. Wise earned his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts from Ithaca College, NY and his Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Visual Arts from Tufts University, MA in Affiliation with The School of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Mr. Wise's personal philosophy is that everyone has a unique and valuable artistic voice to share with the world. He is passionate about teaching art through an IB World lens and helping students develop 21st century skills. Mr. Wise also enjoys teaching cross-curricular lessons that allow students to make connections across disciplines and encourages students to think critically.
Mr. Wise loves to spend time with his wife and three daughters. He also enjoys creating art and going on outdoor adventures.
