Congratulations to Danny Currie, Michelle Drangeid, and Cindy Anderson, Alpine’s finalists for the SVVS Education Foundation Tribute to Teachers – Teacher of the Year.
Principal’s Notes
Dear Alpine Families,
It’s time to start thinking about the 2024-2025 school year! Alpine teachers will be getting together late April by grade level to place students in next year’s classes, which will be balanced by ability, learning style and personalities. Teachers know their students very well and work very hard to make placements that fit them best. If you would like to add something to this process, we welcome you to fill out this questionnaire.
We will do our best to make sure your child is with a teacher that most closely matches his or her academic needs and that peer considerations are taken into account to the extent possible. Because this process is time consuming, we ask that you fill out this questionnaire by April 22nd. All the teachers at Alpine are truly top-notch and they care tremendously about students having the very best school experience.
We will do our best to honor your considerations because parents have valuable information to contribute to this process. However, we hope you understand that with two to three classes per grade, it can be challenging to meet specific requests. Thanks again for your input. We hope to make this a positive transition for everyone!
Together, we feel we can make the best placement for your child for the next school year. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to email me to request further discussion.
This information will only be shared with Alpine admin and the teachers in your child’s current grade level for class placement purposes.
