Hello Alpine Project Launch Families,

We are so happy you are joining us this summer for our “Passport to Learning” themed summer program.

We are so excited to begin our summer of fun learning with your children. Each day your child will take part in intensive reading instruction in a small classroom setting. They will also practice their math skills and engage in fun social studies and science activities designed around our “Passport to Learning” theme. Students will also attend Art, Music, and PE throughout the program and take part in whole group counseling lessons. Our goal is to make the program as fun and engaging as possible.

We are also happy to host Dyslexia Base Camp for the Skyline Feeder System. Students who have received a specialized invitation to DBC will receive intensive, targeted intervention, from some of SVVSD most highly trained interventionists throughout the morning, and then attend Project Launch classes in the afternoon.

We have a full program engaging over 210 students this summer and can’t wait to get started. See you all on Monday!

Amber Marsolek, EdD. – Principal, Alpine Elementary

Project Launch Hours

Project Launch officially begins at 8:30am and ends every day at 3:30pm. Students are welcome on property beginning at 8:15 at which time they can go directly into their exterior classroom doors. Because supervision is not provided prior to 8:15 or after 3:45, we ask that students arrive and depart between those times.

A school lunch option will continue to be provided to families at no cost, and students are welcome to bring their own lunch as well.

Medications

A prescription pad, a pen, a bottle of medicine, and yellow pills are arranged together.

A health clerk will be on site for the duration of Project Launch. Adults are welcome to drop medications at the school office with proper documentation between 8:00 and 3:30 on Friday, May 29 or Monday, June 1.
